MSC Practices

MSC follows the policies and procedures provided by Skate Canada.

Dispute Resolution Policy:

The Moore Skate Club (MSC) and Skate Canada support the principles of dispute resolution and is committed to the techniques of negotiation, facilitation, mediation and arbitration as effective ways to resolve disputes with and amount members.

In case of a conflict between Skate Canada members, the individuals involved in the dispute must make every effort to resolve the conflict amongst themselves.  Where reasonable efforts to resolve the conflict fail, a request may be made to the Board of Directors of the Club for assistance to resolve the dispute. Harassment, Bullying and Discrimination Policy

The Moore Skate Club (MSC ) and Skate Canada are committed to providing a skating environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. Each individual has the right to participate in a respectful environment free from bullying, harassment and discrimination. For more information on this policy, please visit the following site:

MSC Code of Ethics

As a member of Skate Canada, MSC follows a Code of Ethics. This code applies to all skaters, officials, employees, board members, volunteers, alumni, hall of fame members of Skate Canada and its affiliate organizations. This code of ethics also applies to parents and guardians who participate in and observe related activities.
